The Mystery of Irma Vepp
- Fall 2004
![]() After the success of The Good Doctor, Tumbleweed settled upon the Charles Ludlam penned The Mystery of Irma Vep as its next main stage production. "I liked the idea of it being in an obvious genre - horror - so there was a lot of room to play in terms of the production design, acting and marketing," said director Rob Brown. The Mystery of Irma Vep centered around the characters who live in Mandacrest Manor. One of the hooks to the script was that two actors, Michael Glynn Macdonald and Brian Crumblehulme, played all of the roles in the play. "It made for interesting looks backstage and was a great experience if you were looking for a spot on backstage crew," said Brown |
